KVBC Bible Conference

KVBC Bible Conference is our annual conference, organised with the aim to encourage godliness through expository Bible teaching. Conveniently held in the evenings, the KVBC Bible Conference is recommended for all Christians. Come and be blessed by eminent international preachers as they bring the Word of God to us.

Rev Dr Peter Adam OAM is Vicar Emeritus at St Jude’s Carlton in Melbourne, Australia where he is active in teaching, preaching, mentoring and training others in ministry. He also ministers overseas, having spoken at preaching training conferences, and Bible and missionary conventions worldwide.

Peter has written a number of books, booklets, articles and chapters. His publications include Speaking God’s Words: A Practical Theology of Preaching, Hearing God’s Words: Exploring Biblical Spirituality, Written for Us: Receiving God’s Words in the Bible, The Message of Malachi, The Majestic Son: The Letter to the Hebrews, and Walking in God’s Words: Ezra and Nehemiah. He continues to supervise research students for Ridley College in Melbourne, his alma mater and where he has served both a lecturer and Principal.

Peter serves on the Council and Steering Group of The Gospel Coalition Australia, the Chapter of St Paul’s Cathedral, the General Synod Doctrine Commission, and the Leon and Mildred Morris Foundation. He is also a Vice-President of the Church Missionary Society Australia, and of the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students, and a member of the Board of Reference for Langham Partnership.

Peter likes good friends, classical music, reading history and fiction, spending time at the beach, walking his dogs, and tending his mechanical clocks.
