How do you preach the OT with an eye on its value for the Christian’s instruction (Rom 15:4; 1 Cor 10:11; 2 Tim 3:5f) and its focus on Christ (Jn 5:39; Lk 24:27, 44) without diminishing its original intent and meaning? This module aims to equip you with the principles and skills to achieve just that by focusing upon those characteristics of the different literary genre represented in the OT which are helpful to the preacher, augmented by practical exercises in the form of small group work, group discussion, home study, and peer review.
