CEP seeks to provide preachers and teachers of God’s Word with a firm grounding in expository ministry through seminars, courses and workshops on biblical exposition.
The Expository Preaching Seminar (EPS), organised in conjunction with the KVBC Bible conferences, serves as a refresher for seasoned preacher-teachers on principles and issues pertaining to expository ministry. It is also an ideal introduction to expository preaching for budding preacher-teachers of God’s Word.
CEP preaching workshops are designed to boost confidence and ability in right handling of God’s Word. They comprise three main components:
- Principles of exposition
- Small group practice sessions
- Bible expositions
The CEP Course (launched end July 2016) is a 2-year part-time training course for those looking for greater depth in training than what is provided in our workshops. The course is taught over 4 10-week (120 hours) modules:
- New Testament
- Old Testament
- Biblical theology
This course is also an ideal preparatory course for those preparing to pursue full-time theological education. It may also serve as refresher training for those in regular preaching and teaching ministries.
